Why booking, not a one-off

Research-backed, evidence-based tutoring — not a single rescue lesson

A peer-reviewed meta-analysis of randomised trials of school tutoring found consistent positive effects on learning, and found them largest where a pupil kept the same tutor, meeting regularly, over time. That is the whole case for booking a weekly slot rather than reaching for help only the night before a test: a tutor who already knows where your child got stuck last week starts the next lesson there, instead of starting over.

For parents

Nothing happens to your child’s account without you

Built to India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act and its rules on children’s data. These are enforced by the platform itself, not written into a policy and left there.

Under 18? A guardian has to agree first

Your child cannot book anything until you have given permission by email. Not a tick box on their screen — a decision on yours.

You see exactly what you are agreeing to

The permission form lists everything the platform will do with your child’s account — live video lessons and sharing files in lessons — and leaves the optional extras, like progress updates and news emails, for you to switch on or leave off.

Lessons are never recorded

No video or audio of your child is stored, by us or by our video provider.

Their work stays private

Files and whiteboard images from a lesson are visible only to the people who were in it, through links that expire in minutes.

You can withdraw permission at any time

Email privacy@edunaratutoring.com and it takes effect on the platform, not just on a list somewhere.

Someone is named and answerable

Kritam Singh is our Grievance Officer. Ask to see, correct or delete your child's data and you get an answer within 30 days.

Inside the lesson

A classroom, not a video call

Maths needs working shown. Photograph the question, put it on the whiteboard, and the tutor writes on it beside you while you both watch.

Live video, with a real tutor

Face to face in the browser, with a real teacher on the other end — never a recording, never an AI. Nothing to install.

A shared whiteboard

Both of you write at once. Photograph a worksheet, drop it in, and work on it together.

Chat

For links, spellings and anything worth keeping after the lesson.

A code editor

Shared and live, for computer science.

File sharing

Worksheets out, photographs of handwritten working back in.

A record of every lesson

What was covered and what the tutor noticed, kept for you to look back on.

How it works

Three steps to the first lesson

1

Create an account

A few minutes. If the learner is under 18, we ask for a guardian’s email and send them the permission form.

2

Pick a tutor and a time

Browse tutors by subject, see when they are free, and book a slot that suits your week. A new student’s first session can be a free 30-minute demo, when free trials are open.

3

Join the lesson

The classroom opens in the browser. Video, whiteboard and chat are already there.

Rates

Simple, per-student pricing

Group lessons cost less per student, and everyone still gets the tutor’s full attention. Groups are built from classmates — students already in the same class at the same school, working from the same syllabus — so the lesson stays on one page for everyone, up to four students at once on the same whiteboard.

Questions parents ask

Frequently asked questions

How much do online tutoring sessions cost?

One-to-one lessons start at ₹400 an hour. Small groups of classmates cost less per student, down to ₹250 an hour each for a group of four. Rates are exclusive of GST, which is added at 18%. The exact rate for your subject is shown on your account before you book, and nothing is charged until a lesson is booked.

Is there a free demo class?

Yes, when free trials are open. A new student’s first session can be a free 30-minute demo. We offer a limited number of free trials each month; if this month’s have been used, you can book a paid session or wait for next month’s.

Which subjects, classes and boards do you teach?

Maths, Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology), English, Accountancy (Accounting), Economics and Finance, for classes 1 to 12, across CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE and state boards.

Do we keep the same tutor every week?

You choose the tutor and book the times that suit your week, so you can keep booking the same tutor. A tutor who already knows where your child got stuck last week starts the next lesson there.

What device and software do we need?

A phone, tablet, laptop or desktop with a web browser and an internet connection. The classroom opens in the browser with video, a shared whiteboard, chat and file sharing. There is nothing to install.

Are the online classes recorded?

No. Lessons are never recorded. No video or audio of your child is stored, by us or by our video provider.

My child is under 18. What do I need to do?

When your child registers we ask for a parent or guardian’s email and send you a permission form. Your child cannot book anything until you have agreed, and anything optional, such as progress updates or news emails, is yours to switch on or leave off. You can withdraw permission at any time.

Can my child study with friends from the same class?

Yes. Group lessons are for up to four classmates from the same class at the same school, working from the same syllabus, so the lesson stays on one page for everyone. Each student pays a lower rate.

Do we have to buy a package?

No. Make an account, see who is free, and decide after the first lesson whether it is working. There is no package to commit to.

Can I talk to someone before signing up?

Yes. Call or WhatsApp us on +91 92173 77200, or email support@edunaratutoring.com.
