How a lesson runs
A typical lesson mixes a short reading or grammar task with a piece of writing. The tutor annotates the writing live, then your child rewrites the weakest paragraph in the same lesson — the fastest way to see what "better" looks like.
Every lesson is live on video with a real tutor, in a classroom that opens in the browser on a phone, tablet or laptop. Lessons are never recorded, and learners under 18 need a parent’s permission before their first booking. What parents should know

Starting rates, exclusive of GST; 18% GST is added in addition. Group rates are for classmates from the same school and class. The exact rate for a subject is confirmed on your account before you book, and nothing is charged until a lesson is booked.

Can you help with essays and letter writing for board exams?
Yes. Lessons cover the formats each board expects — letters, reports, articles and essays — with practice under timed conditions.
Do you cover the literature texts in our syllabus?
Yes. Tell us the board and class, and lessons will work through the prescribed prose, poetry and drama, including how to answer questions on them.
Is this suitable for younger children learning to read?
Yes. For classes 1 to 5 lessons focus on reading fluency, vocabulary and building sentences, at a pace that suits the child.
